Private Sewing & Patternmaking Lessons

Private lessons are a great way to get one-on-one assistance with your sewing or patternmaking project.

Get acquainted with a new machine (sergers too!), create custom sewing patterns, or learn how to sew at your own pace.

We also offer duet (double) lessons for two people at once, which can be a great bonding activity for friends and family members, and brings down the hourly cost-per-person. 

Pricing

90-Minute Lesson: $85

5-Pack of Private Lessons (must be used within 6 months of booking date): $400 ($25 savings)

90-Minute Duet Lesson: $110 ($55/per person)

Private Lesson Policies

• Sewing lessons must be booked and paid for through the online booking link in advance.
• We do not take walk-ins.
• Sewing lessons are nonrefundable.

Please note that if you choose to cancel your lesson, you will not be refunded. 

If you need to reschedule due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please send an email to lessons@slowfashion.academy at least 24 hours BEFORE your scheduled appointment start time. Lessons may only be rescheduled ONE time.

Last-minute cancellations are not eligible for reschedules or refunds.

Late and No-Show Policy:

If you do not arrive at your appointment within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, your appointment will be considered canceled. Late arrivals and no-shows are not eligible to reschedule or receive a refund.
